Montpelier, VT – Today Create® TV and Worldsm television channel’s popular television show
Start Up announced that it will feature a trio of Vermont based businesses as part of its
upcoming 2015 production season. The show will interview Bailey Road, a high-end clothing
boutique, Music Store Live, an online music store that's receiving national success and
Tonewood, a company that produces pure, premium maple products.
Film crews will visit with each of the selected startups to interview both the entrepreneurs
involved and some of their customers. Production is set to begin on June 9th and conclude on
June 12th, 2015. The airdate of Vermont Start Up episode is yet to be determined.
"The east coast is rich with entrepreneurship, and I believe that the businesses that we are
featuring in places like Montpelier, Portland, New Haven, Boston and Providence all exemplify
what it means to see your dream turn into success." said Gary Bredow, host and creator of Start
Up.
Much like the individuals featured on Start Up, show creator and host Gary Bredow is also an
entrepreneur. While working at various corporate jobs after college, Bredow dreamt of owning
his own business. After years of hard work and dedication, he is now the owner of several
Detroit area businesses. The idea for Start Up came as a way for Gary to ‘pay-it-forward’ to
people around the country that have also felt the calling of someday being their own boss.
“We travel throughout the United States to hear the personal stories of entrepreneurs and find
out what it really takes to start a successful business from the ground up,” said Jenny
Feterovich, producer, casting and production coordinator of Start Up. “We aim to capture the
imagination and hearts of the nearly 50% of Americans who dream of starting their own
business.”
