So what do I think is hot! Maple! Maple is a natural sweetener and great partner with bacon and a new tool for cooking. In the first aisle, the new products aisle was Tonewood Maple - offering quality, Mad River Valley, Vermont maple syrup products and creating an eye catching product line with a mission. No artificial flavors. What truly caught my eye was a cube of maple sugar that you shave as a topping for not only your cereals, desserts but with used on ham, pork, chicken and vegetables.

The NASFT Fancy Food Show held in DC this week is North America’s largest specialty food and beverage event. With close to 200,000 products, it’s hard to choose favorites; however, I did have some stand-outs to share. Here’s the dish:
